Rankscale Review
AI visibility tracking across 17+ answer engines for agencies and enterprise teams
GEO & LLM Optimization · From $99/mo
Overview
Rankscale is a Vienna-built AI visibility platform for agencies and enterprise teams. It tracks brand mentions, rankings, citations and sentiment across 17-plus answer engines, including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, DeepSeek, Grok, Copilot and Mistral, with no per-engine upsell. The feature set covers competitor analysis, sources box inspection, shopping and ad tracking in ChatGPT, Google AI Mode and Copilot, query fan-out (the internal searches engines run before answering), page audits with AI-readiness scoring, and prompt research that estimates demand through semantic reconstruction. Monitoring runs on credits. Each query to an AI engine costs a fraction of a credit, typically 0.25. Essentials starts at $20 per month. Pro is EUR 99 with 1,200 credits (up to 4,800 tracked answers), 10 brand dashboards and 50 page audits, and a seven-day trial. Growth is EUR 385 with 5,500 credits, 50 dashboards, 200 audits, white-label options, a REST API and agency benefits. Enterprise is EUR 780 with 12,000 credits and 100 dashboards. Yearly billing saves 15 percent, and unused credits roll over to a cap of two to three times the monthly allocation. Rankscale GmbH says 1,000-plus active users and lists Bosch, UBS and Cartier on its customer wall. GA4 and Search Console connectors are beta. Two honest caveats: credits make monthly cost harder to predict than fixed prompt caps, and features like Scout recommendations and the GA4 tie-in are marked beta. For agencies that want one price for every engine and Looker Studio exports, the credit model is the main thing to size before committing.

Pricing
Rankscale is sold on paid plans, from €99/mo.

Best for
Agencies and multi-brand teams that want every major answer engine on one plan without per-engine upsells, plus exports and white-label reporting. Also fits teams that want research features like query fan-out alongside tracking.
Not for
Buyers who want fixed, predictable monthly costs, since tracking volume depends on credit burn and engine mix. Teams needing GA4 or Search Console tie-ins today, since those connectors are beta.
Review notes
Assessed from Rankscale's live site and pricing pages in September 2026. We have not run the platform. The workflow is credit-based: you create unlimited search terms, choose engines and regions per term, and pick a schedule from hourly to monthly. Each query to an AI engine burns a fraction of a credit (typically 0.25), so the plan credit pool, not a prompt cap, sets your tracking volume. Pro's 1,200 credits translate to up to 4,800 tracked answers per month, Growth's 5,500 to about 22,000, Enterprise's 12,000 to about 48,000. Unused credits roll over (2x on Pro, 3x on Growth and Enterprise) and you can top up mid-cycle.
That model rewards steady cadence over burst tracking. Run hourly checks on many prompts and credits disappear fast. Run daily checks on a focused prompt set and the same pool covers a lot. The credit calculator on their pricing page exists for that reason.
Beyond tracking, the platform covers competitor benchmarking, citation and sources-box analysis, sentiment by brand, topic and model, shopping cards in ChatGPT, Google AI Mode and Copilot, ad share of voice, and page audits with AI-readiness scoring (50 audits on Pro, 200 on Growth and Enterprise). Query fan-out shows the internal searches engines run before answering, and it ships on every plan. Prompt research estimates demand through semantic reconstruction rather than a panel number, with 10 free lookups a month on Growth. Two things to check in a trial: the Scout recommendations engine and the GA4/Search Console connectors are both labeled beta. REST API and white-label options gate at Growth (EUR 385), so agencies that need data exports land there, not Pro.
Verdict
Rankscale offers the widest engine coverage for the money: 17-plus engines on every plan, credit-based pricing from $20 to EUR 780 per month, and research features like query fan-out. The credit model needs a trial to size properly, and two headline features are still beta. For agencies, Growth at EUR 385 is where the API and white-label options start.
